Atkey and Company are makers of authentically designed period doors and joinery with a catalogue spanning 300 years of design. This winter saw the launch of their new Contemporary range of period doors and joinery mouldings. In this new creative project, Atkey have brought together some of their favourite period designs as well as original designs, all suited to more contemporary interiors.

Atkey are best known for period accuracy in producing joinery appropriate for Georgian, Victorian, Regency, Arts and Crafts and Edwardian properties. With their new Contemporary Collection they have created a range suited to contemporary aesthetics and settings, whilst employing the same attention to quality in design and production as their period door and joinery ranges. They have selected a range of British panel door styles which may be raised and fielded, recessed or flat panel, and each style comes with a choice of decorative moulding details and wood finishes for a bespoke product. All their doors and mouldings are designed and manufactured by hand in modern workshops in Somerset.
